ASHLEY DAVIES’ bid to emulate new PSA world no.1 James Willstrop by winning the under-17 boys’ trophy at the Tecnifibre British Junior Open Championships ended in a thrilling but gallant defeat to Egypt’s Shehab Essam in Sheffield.A gruelling semi-final against Karim El Hammamy, which lasted almost two hours, eventually took its toll on the English teenager, who succumbed to fellow 5/8 seed Essam 11-7, 11-13, 11-5, 9-11, 6-11 in 71 minutes.

Tecnifibre Squash Clinic @ New Delhi

Last week in India, Tecnifibre Squash organised a clinic with 4 of our players: Shorbagy, Mosaad, Walker and Dipika. The program: Each player played with 5 juniors with a good interaction, there had games to win player's racquets and in final a display between the players ! Kids had a lot of fun...

PSA Pittsburgh Open: Congrats to Alister Walker

Congrats to our player Tecnifibre Alister Walker (PSA#20 - Suprem NG 130) who beat in final Adrian Grant (11-7/ 6-11/ 11-4/ 15-17/ 11-2) in PSA International 25 3 Rivers Capital Pittsburgh Open, US.

Squash Clinic in Hong Kong

The PSA Cathay Pacific Open took place earlier this month in Hong Kong: this tournament is considered to be one of the biggest on the squash calender. 

Tecnifibre and the Hong Kong distributor Gold Medal organised a clinic the day before the tournament started. 3 of our players (Omar Mosaad, Greg Marche and Carmen Lee)  helped us out in taking part in an exhibition match and conducting short lessons at the Lai King Sports Centre.
