Where are the left-handed players? !!!

MaindMaingHello everybody,

I was reading some facts about top players in the world, when I realized that there are only two left-handed players in the top 20. Rafa Nadal n°2 and Jarkko Nieminen, n°19! Do you remember when Connors, McEnroe, Vilas, Gomez, Muster, Ivanisevic, Rios, were fighting in Grand Slams finals? Nadal, (and we hope Verdasco soon ;)) is the only one who seems able to stop the right-handed players' victories... Before him, the last left-handed player who played a great final was Goran Ivanisevic in Wimbledon in 2001. How could we explain that? Have you got any ideas which could explain the lack of that kind of players on the Tour?

We wait for your comments...

Debate: Difficult beginning of season for the Team: What's the problem?

B_0903052_verdascoThe results of TF players since January are not as satisfying as we would like. A disappointing Australian season, no victory in Zagreb, and still two eliminations in the first round yesterday in Marseille. Viegen and Verdasco victories last weekend in Davis Cup have been the only satisfactions of the new season.

How could we explain these results? Are our players well prepared? Is the ATP level so difficult?

TECNIFIBRE waits for your comments, and hopes to find with you the reasons of the last TF players' results...

1168252683_1 Le tennis français se pose actuellement beaucoup de questions sur sa capacité à jouer au plus haut niveau. Une statistique affole en partie les entités tennistiques tricolores:
