5ème Open de Moselle: Les festivités commencent

Bonjour à tous. Je vous écris en direct live de l'Open  de Moselle sur lequel TECNIFIBRE est balle et cordeur officiels. Les qualifications sont maintenant terminées et le 1er tour commence aujourd'hui.

Tommy Robredo sera la tête de série n°1 et Guillermo Canas n°2.

Du côté TF, notre seul représentant cette année s'appelle Janko Tipsarevic, qui aura fort à faire en se mesurant à Andy Murray d'entrée de jeu.

Letters from... Osaka

Dear TF friends,

these are our last words from Japan. Kei and I had a lot to do this week. Our last 2 days on BRIDGESTONE SPORTS exhibition have been also very busy and fruitful. Especially today, last day of exhibition, where we welcomed many TF customers from the EAST and South regions. (on the picture: one of the most pleasant and most effective teams of the region:"Tennis Japan" Shop, Nagoya). WE took also some time to visit the National U14 championship with some young  talented Japanese players.   We visited there our TECNIFIBRE-BRIDGESTONE booth (see picture).

Now it is time to go home !Thank you for following our trip around Japan during these past few days.

ON the road to Osaka...

we made a short Stop in the beautiful City of Kyoto.

Kei and I left Tokyo with the Shinkansen (the Japanese TGV, see picture)   and decided to stay one day in Kyoto before joining the second exhibition of BRIDGESTONE SPORTS, in Osaka.

Today nothing about tennis but only some pictures about a beautilful place in the world: Kyoto. This city is very well known for its famous temples but naturally also for its marvelous Geishas and Maikos...  (see pictures).

Back to business tomorrow : we will visit the Osaka Tennis Center to have a look at the Japanese National University  Championships, before meeting our partners of BRIDGESTONE to prepare the next exhibition for monday! I hope to give you again some good news from Osaka BRIDGSTONE SPORTS Tennis exhibition next week... See you soon ! Kei and Thomas.

Banzaï, Tecnifibre is getting stronger in Japan

Hello TF friends,

I saw that my "roomate" Guillaume informed you about his Russian Tour.

This week, it is my turn and I send you some news from Japan ! I am currently in Tokyo : 37°C, 90 % humidity. Let say, better stay inside with air conditionning because outside it is awful ! But I am not here for holidays and I just wanted to show you some pictures from the exhibition of our Japanese partner : The company BRIDGESTONE SPORTS itself. Yes, the same as the one providing the tyres in Formula 1 for all teams and especially for FERRARI (see picture) . Anyway, BRIDGESTONE is distributing Tecnifibre products in Japan since 3 years now and they are presenting the new string collection to their best Japanese customers during the month of August (see pictures).

Kei, our new comer at Tecnifibre is assisting me during this long trip in Japan and he is for sure a big help, as he has English and Japanese passport ! (you can see him also on the picture here).

This week, we will present our products in Tokyo and I will probably send you some more news about Tecnifibre in Japan next week from Osaka (more in the South). The exhibition is a very good possibility for us to get some feedback from this very specific market. The good news for Tecnifibre and BRIDGSTONE SPORTS in Japan ? We are currently on a 50% Growth rythm since beginning of the year. Come on! The way to become a Top 5 brand in Japan is still long but we all work in the right direction. Thanks for your support. Tecnifibre in Moscow !!

Hello Tecnifibies....

It is my turn to post some comments of my travels. After my Colleague Thomas in Munich, I am in Moscow this week and what a country !! At least I found a summertime, 35°, sunny days. I don't miss France at all. Here Tennis is more and more popular, so many young girls are dreaming about Sharapova, Dementieva and so on. Everydays there are some new tennis courts built. It is quite mystic to see the Tennis in the middle of the former east block with its old building and the basilica

Tecnifibre, einzelne Tennis Marke in München

Hi everybody,

This is Thomas from export department. This week, I am participating, with our German partner MTS, to the International Ispo Trade Fair in Munich. This year the organization promotes SPORT & STYLE exhibitions. Instead of Sport & Style, I must aknowledge, this Trade Fair is more Style & Desaster. I think it is the last Sumer Ispo Fair this year. No more visitors, no more brands, no more show...

Tecnifibre was the only one Tennis brand this year (see picture of the stand of our German distributor there). Good for us, not good for our Sport. Also many new small brands invited on Ispo, but very few real innovations this year. So it is a poor year for SPORT. MOREOVER, you can not imagine how sad it is, not to meet any REEF girl on a SUMMER Ispo. They disappeared already after the first day because of 10°C temperature...In Munich, the famous speech : "Ich habe fertig", or "Flasche leer" is still accurate... Tschuss!

Small Tour in Big Country

Hello everybody,

just some pictures about our Asian Tour of this week (here together with our Korean and Hong Kong distributor).

After a few days in HK for Tecnifibre Asian- Pacific meeting, I am currently visiting the town of Chengdu, China. Why ? It is a good question ! Chengdu is only a small city of 8 Million people in the middle of nowhere (China Mainland). But this week, Chengdu is welcoming the 20th CHINA SPORT SHOW. Many Chinese brands are presenting their products in tennis and other sports, but also some big brands from tennis industry are also here to show their new collections. What about tennis in China ? I think nobody really knows, but imagine if only 1% of the population would play tennis, it would be already a huge number of players... Hopefully Tecnifibre will also have a piece of this big cake in the next years. We will for sure inform you about TF future in China soon. Bye. Thomas

Séminaire International 2007

Mardi 24 avril : Deuxième jour du séminaire
Ce matin, un peu comme au télé achat, Patrice Bellemare nous présente son dernier produit révolutionnaire : le TTC.
C'est un franc succès. La foule s'agglutine pour admirer ce produit qui va changer nos vies.

L'après-midi, Laurent a présenté  les raquettes et Cyril le programme promo. Puis direction les courts pour les tests produits.
