Tecnifibre coach Kazuya Ono from Japan has embarked on a new life and new career from this month. As a junior, he was part of the 1st ever "Shuzo Challenge" development program, founded by Shuzo Matsuoka. He was in the same class/group as current Top 100 players Kei Nishikori and Tatsuma Ito.
Last year, he was offered a job at the Japan International Cooperation Agency, a company which focuses on helping developing countries in all genres (education, sports, healthcare etc..)
It was decided that his mission from january 2012 for 2 full years would be the coach of best juniors at the Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protishtan (BKSP), the official sports school for the Bangladesh Olympic Federation and government.
All of the juniors at this school, who were formerly playing with old worn-out rackets now have the opportunity to improve further using TECNIFIBRE rackets.
Good luck to him and his students, and hope to see you at ITF tournaments soon!
