Bjorn lost a 7-5, 6-3 decision in the finals against Brian Baker, who is a former top 200 player in the world. Baker defeated another Tecnifibre TEAM USA member, Robbye Poole in the first round. 

Although Poole (T-Fight 325 VO2 Max) ran into a tough draw in singles, he partnered with Mitchell Frank to reach the doubles final. Poole and Frank entered the tournament unseeded, and did not drop a set in their 3-match run to the championship match. Their tournament included a 6-3, 6-3 win over the 2nd seeded pair of Crepaldi and El Mihdawy.
