New Visitors in Tecnifibre String Factory

Hello TF Fans,    

we had the pleasure to welcome yesterday in the Tecnifibre String Factory (Wervicq Sud, France) some new Tecnifibre saleforces from Germany (MTS) and Belgium (Central Sport and his Chairman Mr Thierry Flament) and Chief executive of ERSA (Mark Maslwoski).

I wanted to wish good luck to Hermann and Eric and hope they will manage to increase TF market shares in North of Germany and West part of Belgium. "Add Passion to your Game" guys...

TECNIFIBRE - official tournament stringing service for Qatar Total Open 2008 (WTA-Doha)

309 rackets have totally been strung during this WTA-Tournament held in Doha, the capitol city of Qatar. Already in the past a great event, the Qatar Total Open  2008 were upraded to Tier-1 status with an amazing prize money of 2,5 mio. US-$. The TECNIFIBRE-service once more was managed by Ronald (arriving at Doha on Saturday morning only after stringing at the ATP-Marseille Open 13 till Friday afternoon), Michael and Mark. Quit busy at the beginning of the tournament the number of rackets to be strung dropped down on Wednesday for 3 days as a violent desert storm made action on the court extremely difficult. Right in time for the final on Sunday weather was great again so that the stringers enjoyed some Jet-Ski fun on the Persian Gulf before stringing the rackets for the finalists Maria Sharapova and Vera Zvonareva.

Oregon Open 2008: 3 TF players into the SFs !

Thierry Lincou, Wael El Hindi and qualifier Jan Koukal are in the final four at Oregon Open 2008. Thierry and Wael will face each other while Jan will try to beat second seed K. Darwish for a place in the final. Good results for the TF Team and a very good point for TF in the USA. Go guys, goooooooo!

Tournoi des Hauts de France 2008: Tecnifibre fait son défilé

Le tounoi des Hauts de France 2008, événement majeur du calendrier tennistique chez les meilleurs jeunes 15/16 ans, s'est déroulé au mois de janvier sur les courts de Marc en Baroeul au coeur de la ligue des Flandres. L'occasion pour Tecnifibre, partenaire de la ligue, d'organiser un défilé tennis-mode pour présenter les nouvelles collections et surtout la nouvelle collection de raquettes Sport & Style 2008. Merci au magasin Rivière Sports, à l'origine du projet, et qui a réalisé un  travail remarquable en collaboration avec l'organisation du tournoi. Ci-dessous les photos! L'occasion de voir aussi une intervention de Guy Forget, qui joue avec Tecnifibre sur le central du tournoi pour le plus grand plaisir des spectateurs.

   

   

   

In Fukuoka...

After spending last week in Osaka, I went back to Tokyo and then set off again on monday night for the exhibition in Fukuoka.  We had an early start (6:50am!!) to start preparing before the clients started arriving at midday. The number of clients was less than at Tokyo and Osaka but nonetheless some big and important faces arrived during the day.

After the exhibition, the sales team of Tomonori and Kenji from Fukuoka;  the West Japan sales team from Osaka and Bridgestone Sports Tokyo went out for a local meal, motsunabe (beef hotpot, Fukuoka style).

Wael El Hindi claims El Ahly title, and defeats World n°1 Amr Shabana

Wael El Hindi takes El Ahly title after his win over world number 1 Amr Shabana in the final. That's a great victory for our Tecnifibre player who needed 5 games to upset the world champion. (6/9 9/1 9/6 4/9 9/4).

Wael is playing with Tecnifibre Dynergy 125 racket and X-One Biphase string.

One month after the amazing match of Janko Tipsarevic against Roger Federer, Tecnifibre defeats the best squash player in the world.

Tecnifibre becomes the official ball and string for Marseille Open 13 tournament

Already official stringer at Roland Garros, Monte-Carlo, the BNP-Paribas Masters and at Metz, Tecnifibre strengthens its leadership at French tournaments after having signed a three year partnership with the “Open 13 de Marseille”, to be held next from the 11th to the 18th February.

The Open 13 de Marseille (US$534000) is a tournament not to be missed after the Australian circuit. In 2008, Djokovic, Ferrer, Gasquet and Tsonga are already commited to play. . .

In addition to the stringing service undertaken by the TF7000 machines, the aim of this partnership is also for the players to play with the top of the range high quality ball from Tecnifibre, the X-One, which was used at the last Open de Moselle.
