Tecnifibre junior player Grégoire Barrère in live from Miami at Orange Bowl

One of our best juniors under contrat Grégoire Barrère from France is in the USA this week, to play the Orange Bowl. He sent to Tecnifibre some pictures from Miami where he lost in the third round yesterday in three sets.

"Miami is an awesome spot. Everything's bigger than in France, the buildings, the cars, the hotels. And I don't speak about the girls ;). It has been raining a lot since few days so it's a bit difficult to organize my journeys. I practice every morning with some other french guys, and then we have to wait for our matches. I spend a lot of time with Tecnifibre promotion manager too. It's always good to have a support from sponsors abroad. Anyways, Miami was a good experience for me as a tennis player but also as a young boy. Can't wait to get back soon!"

  

Eddie Herr International Tennis Championships: Marton Fucsovics runner-up

The Prestigious Eddie Herr International Junior Tournament has served as a springboard to the professional tennis tour for such names as Roger Federer, Maria Sharapova, Andy Roddick, David Nalbandian, Anna Kournikova, Mardy Fish, Xavier Malisse, Marcelo Rios, Jelena Jankovic, and Ana Ivanovic -- to name just a few.

Tecnifibre is proud to announce that Hungarian Marton Fucsovics (on the left) reached the final yesterday only beating by american D. Kudla in three sets 6/7 6/4 6/4. This is a great result for Marton one week before playing at Orange Bowl.

Junior P2H claims the title in Hettange-Grande, a big event in East of France

Tecnifibre player Pierre-Hugues Herbert and recent semi-finalist in New York at US Open Junior claims the title in Hettange-Grande, a tournament close to his region in East of France. P2H had a great run all week long with a straight victory in the final, 6/2 6/7 6/1. He plays with Tecnifibre T-Fight 320 racket and Pro RedCode string.

TIM Essonne 2009 international junior tournament. A 100% Tecnifibre final!

Two young Tecnifibre players battled in the final of one of the biggest junior tournaments, the TIM Essonne 91 last week in France.

Thomas Brechemier (on the left), from the qualifications, upset Fabien Reboul in straight sets 6/3 6/3 to claim the title. Thomas plays with T-Flash 300 Speedflex. Fabien with the T-Fight 295 V02 Max.

Pompadour national tournament 10 years old: Tecnifibre Junior Dorian Bahloul unstoppable

Dorian Bahloul, under contract with Tecnifibre claimed the title in Pompadour last week, a big event in France for juniors who are 10 years old. Dorian, n°1 in France didn't loose any matches in his year category since three years, which is a great performance!

Dorian plays with Tecnifibre T-Flash 265 racket, X-One Biphase string, and 2010 new apparel.

We wish him the best for new season and continue to help him improving his tennis in the next following years.

Tecnifibre junior player Grégoire Barrère claims his first ITF Title in St Cyprien

Grégoire Barrère claimed his 1st ITF title last week in St Cyprien (France) even if he's only 15 years old. Since he started training at INSEP training center with the french federation, Grégoire improved a lot his physically level and this is the 1st result of a tough preparation.

Grégoire defeated top seed Stefan Sterland-Markovic in the final in three sets 6/4 6/7 6/3, loosing his only set of the tournament. Congrat's!

Verdasco play with Tecnifibre juniors in Valencia

Tecnifibre Spain organized a promotional event with Tecnifibre star Fernando Verdasco yesterday in Valencia. Fernando played with Tecnifibre juniors in front of many people.

Juniors received their equipment for the new season from Tecnifibre Spain.

Pierre-Hugues and Timea crowned as doubles champions in Osaka.

Congratulations go to our juniors Pierre-Hugues Herbert (FRA) and Timea Babos (FRA) who won the boys and girls doubles titles at the ITF Grade A tournament in Osaka.

This is by far the biggest junior tournament in Japan, and one of the most important events on the Japanese tennis calender. It is therefore normal surprising that the matches over the weekend were aired on satellite and cable television.

Timea, who plays with the Rebound Pro range was also the runner-up in the girls singles, falling to doubles partner Kristina Mladenovic.

The ITF Grade A tournament in Osaka is taking place this week.

Some of the best juniors in the world are here to play this event, including 3 Tecnifibre international contract juniors: Timea Babos (HUN), Pierre-Hugues Herbert (FRA) and Francis Alcantara (PHI).
