Tecnifibre official stringer in Fes, WTA tournament

Tecnifibre was for the first time the official stringer at Fes WTA tournament. And it's a Tecnifibre player who claimed the title. Argentinian Gisela Dulko defeated spaniard A. Medina Garrigues in the final!

Monte Carlo: TF official stringer. 3 players in the draw

As usual, Tecnifibre is the Official stringer at Monte Carlo, the first clay court Masters Series tournament of the year. Today, three Tecnifibre players will be on the court:

TECNIFIBRE - official tournament stringing service for Qatar Total Open 2008 (WTA-Doha)

309 rackets have totally been strung during this WTA-Tournament held in Doha, the capitol city of Qatar. Already in the past a great event, the Qatar Total Open  2008 were upraded to Tier-1 status with an amazing prize money of 2,5 mio. US-$. The TECNIFIBRE-service once more was managed by Ronald (arriving at Doha on Saturday morning only after stringing at the ATP-Marseille Open 13 till Friday afternoon), Michael and Mark. Quit busy at the beginning of the tournament the number of rackets to be strung dropped down on Wednesday for 3 days as a violent desert storm made action on the court extremely difficult. Right in time for the final on Sunday weather was great again so that the stringers enjoyed some Jet-Ski fun on the Persian Gulf before stringing the rackets for the finalists Maria Sharapova and Vera Zvonareva.

Open 13 Marseille - TF shines with the Backpacks!

 

Tecnifibre becomes the official ball and string for Marseille Open 13 tournament

Already official stringer at Roland Garros, Monte-Carlo, the BNP-Paribas Masters and at Metz, Tecnifibre strengthens its leadership at French tournaments after having signed a three year partnership with the “Open 13 de Marseille”, to be held next from the 11th to the 18th February.

The Open 13 de Marseille (US$534000) is a tournament not to be missed after the Australian circuit. In 2008, Djokovic, Ferrer, Gasquet and Tsonga are already commited to play. . .

In addition to the stringing service undertaken by the TF7000 machines, the aim of this partnership is also for the players to play with the top of the range high quality ball from Tecnifibre, the X-One, which was used at the last Open de Moselle.

Qatar ExxonMobile Open 2008 (Doha): Tecnifibre official tournament stringing service

Big progress for this year official stringing service operated by Ronald, Michael and Mark: 385 rackets strung which is equivalent to an increase of 43% compared to the events of the last 2 years!!! Excellent weather conditions in Doha/Qatar at the beginning of the tournament resulted in lots of practise on the courts for the pros starting the new season were the main reason for this amazing developement, some rackets for the ITF Junior tournament played at the same time in the Khalifa International Tennis Complex of Doha as well as the fact that last year´s champion and 2008 semi-finalist Ivan Ljubicic (travelling with his personal stringer 1 year ago) trusted the service of the Tecnifibre-team with 30 rackets to be strung. So, lots of works for the stringers -working on TF-8000 machines- sometimes long into the night instead of relaxing evenings with “shisha”, the traditional arabic water pipe...

Tecnifibre, official stringer of the Masters of Legends

Tecnifibre, together with the European Racquet Stringers Association, were the Official Stringing Service of the first Masters of Legends Tournament. The tournament was organized similar to the World Team Cup, where Tecnifibre and the ERSA will be the Official Stringing Service starting in 2008. Six teams were there from five countries. Two groups with three teams played a round robin to get into the final. Legends such as John McEnroe, Boris Becker, Michael Stich, Goran Ivanisevic and Henri Leconte were on hand competing for the 120,000€ first prize. The tournament was won by Germany 2 team led by Michael Stich.
